As a Master Pointe Shoe Specialist for Capezio Ballet Makers, Sonja traveled the United States, Canada, Central & South America, and the Caribbean, educating pre-professional and professional dancers on the art of pointe shoe fitting. She has attended several Youth American Grand Prix competitions, fitting dancers in custom pointe shoes as well as stock pointe shoes to elevate their training and performances on pointe.

Having fitted thousands of dancers, Sonja has mastered the art of fitting, custom shoe orders, and resolving problem areas in pointe shoes. Where will the workshop be held?

This workshop will be held online on Zoom. If you are under 18, you are able to attend with your parents. However, only the dancers are able to answer specific questions about their pointe shoes (unless your child is a beginner.)

I have a simple rule. If the dancer wears the pointe shoes, the dancer answers the questions about their feet & shoes.

How many years do I need to be on pointe to participate?

You can be a beginner about to start your pointe training or you can be an advanced professional dancer. This workshop helps ballet dancers of all levels enhance their performances and training with properly fitted pointe shoes.
